Sometimes in order to get to where we need to go, we must break that which has been built. When we chisel away all that does not serve us, we are left with a miraculous masterpiece.

Recently I was listening to The Nobel Peace Prize winner FW de Klerk. 
He was sharing the many changes he implemented after assuming the party leadership in South Africa. 
His speech was powerful, articulate, and life changing – knowing the very same principles apply to our lives. 
  

 

• In order to maintain support through the change process honesty was instrumental.

 

• Breaking away from those who are stuck in resistance will accelerate the change process.

 

• The fabric of your being, the fabric of your soul can weather all change.

 

• The essence of all breakthroughs is a break away from old paradigms.

 

• Light is the greatest disinfectant and the greatest growth agent.

 

• You can be compassionate when you have self-control and mastery.

Change causes us to rise and overcome the fears, doubt, uncertainty that arise when we need to let go of an old methodology and move towards the new.  When we have enough people willing to leap with courage, we can make the collective shift towards the new paradigm.
